Some residents enter directly into the college program after completing thirty days of primary treatment at another facility, while others participate in Morningside’s regular treatment program before choosing the college program. If residents are admitting into the college program directly, it is recommended they arrive at Morningside Recovery at least one week prior to the first day of class. There are several entry windows into the Academic Institute. The dates of entry into the academic program coincide with Saddleback College’s academic calendar.
