Academic Evaluation > Psychological Testing
Clients at Morningside Recovery are offered a complete psychological testing battery at an additional cost. A testing battery consists of a variety of personality and cognitive tests that help the clinicians, the family, and the client more completely understand psychological nuances and cognitive functioning.
The testing is usually conducted over a three to four day period, after which, a psychological report is generated. The report helps clinicians responsible for the client’s care more accurately develop a treatment plan that will fit the client’s needs.
Tests vary depending on the individual, but commonly include:
- WAIS-III (IQ Test)
- WMS (Weschler Memory Scale)
- MMPI-2 (Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory)
- Rorschach Ink Blot Test
- Continuous Performance Test (ADHD)
- Enhanced Career Assessment Inventory
- Clinical Interview
- And others as needed…
